This is a short policy, because there is very little to say.
Does this website use cookies?
No. This website sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing on your device.
We do count visits, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It tells us how many people came to the page and roughly where from, so we know whether anyone is finding us. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not identify you, and does not follow you to other websites. There is no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
You can check the cookie part yourself: open your browser's developer tools, look under Storage or Application, and you will find no cookies set by this site.
What about the videos on the site?
The screen recordings on this site are ordinary video files hosted alongside the page. They are not embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or any other platform, so no third party sees that you watched them and no cookies are set by watching.
What if I join the waitlist?
Joining the waitlist sends your email address to our email provider so we can tell you when Stockd Up launches. That is a form submission rather than a cookie. What we do with the address is set out in the Privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.
Does the app use cookies?
No. Stockd Up is a native iPhone app, not a web page in disguise. It stores your inventory and your settings on your own device using your phone's normal app storage, and backs it up to your own iCloud if you switch that on. There is no advertising identifier, no tracking pixel and no cross-app tracking.
What if this changes?
If we ever add something that does use cookies or similar technology, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting anything.
We have no plans to add advertising or third-party tracking at all.
Managing cookies generally
Even though this site sets none, you can control cookies for every site from your browser settings, where you can block them, delete existing ones, or be asked each time. Blocking cookies will not affect anything on this website.
